This is a great place to go for things Australian and Development

The Oceania Development Network

The Oceania Development Network is funded by the Global Development Network and is at network for researchers and people involved in or interested in development from around the Oceania Region.

The Global Development Network

The Global Development Network is funded by the World Bank (and others) which delves into the issues of international development. On the Global Development Network's website there is also a specific Oceania Regional Window (administered by the Oceania Development Network and the Foundation for Development Cooperation), which has up-to-date information about region’s organisations, researchers and research outputs/papers, as well as news on up-coming events, job vacancies and funding opportunities.

The Development Studies Association

The Development Studies Association is the United Kingdom and Ireland's equivalent to DevNet.

Studying-Development.org is a community portal to study and training opportunities for those wishing to enter, or already active in the field of International Development and Humanitarian Aid. The resources on this website are intended to help both prospective students and practitioners find the right study or training course. Our directory is international in scope and includes both degree courses as well as training courses aimed at practitioners.

The Dev-Zone Knowledge Centre

Dev-Zone is the organisation that maintains the DevNet website. They have their own website. It's full of resources including the Knowledge Centre: an online database of links to useful development resources. It's fully searchable and is an excellent place to look for resources for your research/essay/general reading.

A great place to look for development work!

The Pacific Development Directory

Also maintained by Dev-Zone, this directory is a database of organisations involved in development work in the Pacific.

The Aotearoa New Zealand International Development NGO Directory

This directory is a list of all those New Zealand NGOs involved in international development work. The most recent version is available to purchase from the Dev-Zone website; an older version is available for free from the website too.

The Council for International Development

The Council for International Development is the umbrella organisation representing the interest of New Zealand international development NGOs. They are a great window into the world of NGOs and their website has some very useful resources on it.

NZAID

The website of New Zealand's government agency for international development - NZAID.

Eldis

A great website that is full of resources for people studying, researching or working in development.

Open Democracy

A good website with informed essays on global issues.
