Professor Dr. Nguyen Trung Viet is the President of Thuyloi University, Vietnam, and a Professor of Hydraulic Engineering. With three decades of academic leadership, Prof. Viet has been a pivotal force in advancing higher education in Vietnam’s water resources, civil engineering, and environmental sectors. His primary research focus is coastal morphodynamic and shoreline evolution under climate change. As Principal Investigator, he has led key international collaborative projects providing advanced engineering solutions to sustainable water development in Vietnam.
