To reduce the file size of a PowerPoint, try:

  1. ‘Save As’ .pptx (if not already, the new format reduces file size slightly)
  2. Reduce Image size:
    • ‘Save Options>Advanced>Image Quality>
      • Default Resolution: 150ppi
      • Discard editing data
  3. Or / File>Compress Pictures> 150 ppi (all pictures in this file) + “Delete cropped areas of pictures”
