Tarcisius Kabutaulaka

Tarcisius Kabutaulaka is an associate professor and former director of the Center for Pacific Islands Studies at the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa. He was educated in Solomon Islands, Fiji and Australia and previously worked at the East-West Center and the University of the South Pacific. His research and publications focus on China’s geopolitical influence in Oceania, regionalism, governance, natural resources and economic development, and land issues in Solomon Islands. He is from the island of Guadalcanal in Solomon Islands.
