Leonid Vusilai, a young chef hailing from Vanuatu, plays an active role within the Regenerative Agritourism movement with the Not-for-Profit Organization, Regenerative Vanua. He has also earned recognition as an award winner in the Pacific Island Food Revolution competition. His fervour lies in crafting menus utilising locally-sourced ingredients, as he firmly believes this approach can provide vital economic support to local farmers and celebrate the unique culinary traditions of Vanuatu. In his capacity as a technical advisor for the local cuisine revival initiative under the agritourism program, he strives to promote local cuisine and instil pride in the region’s indigenous foods.
