Frequently asked questions
  • Are discounts for group registrations available? | Yes, for registered non-governmental organisations. Mail devnet2020@devnet.org.nz for information about qualifying criteria and to apply.
  • What should I do if my organisation cannot use the online credit card payment system to pay registration fees? | Mail devnet2020@devnet.org.nz to arrange for an invoice to be issued.
  • What are the qualifying criteria for the ‘unwaged’ rate? | You should either: a) be a registered student (student ID number required), or b) not in employment at the time of registration (select ‘not employed’ on the registration form)
  • I do not know yet whether I will be able to travel to New Zealand. Will changes to registration type be possible nearer the conference dates? We will consider applications for refunds or change of registration type on a case-by-case basis. Refunds will be possible up to 7 days before the conference.

Registration fees for in-person delegates include attendance at the conference, morning and afternoon tea and lunch for three days, and the welcome reception on Wednesday, 2 December.  Not included are the conference dinner on Thursday and accommodation.  

Online rates are for delegates participating through the video conferencing platform include online access to the keynote and plenary sessions, as well as most sessions in parallel streams. Creative sessions, such as panel discussions, workshops, and roundtables, will unfortunately not be live-streamed. Named sessions open to virtual participation will be indicated on the named sessions page and the programme before the registration deadline. Passcodes to access conference sessions will be sent to online delegates after registration.
