Aiga Ian’s research topic: The effects of gender-based violence on women’s and men’s mental health in Papua New Guinea: A case study in Kupiano Station, Kelerakwa Village and Wavulu Landmass Area, Central Province, Papua New Guinea

Gender-based Violence is closely linked to mental health challenges among men and women. The study examines how the incidence of gender-based violence affects men’s and women’s mental health in selected communities, thereby shedding light on GBV triggers, coping and recovery mechanisms, and barriers to seeking assistance.
