Recipients of the New Zealand Postgraduate Development Research Awards are required to submit a policy brief within six months of completing their research.

The target audience for the briefs are New Zealand development policy makers (specifically MFAT), and other New Zealand and international development organisations.

While the requirement for developing the brief is primarily to help students develop policy and research application skills, quality policy briefs may also be used by MFAT and distributed to other development agencies.

See below a selection of recently completed briefs that have been submitted by previous award recipients

The views expressed in these Briefs are entirely those of the award holders and do not necessarily reflect the position of DevNet, the New Zealand Government, the New Zealand Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade or any other party.
